Only one week separates us from Ubisoft’s E3 2018 media briefing and the announcement of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on stage.
In preparation for this event and to bring back old as well as new players into the game, Ubisoft has created a video guide about The Division’s changes which have been made over the course of past two years.
Besides the Season Pass in year one and its 3 major expansions, new areas, missions, and tons of features like Global Events found the way into the game. The devs will continue improving the game and host such events in the future and on a regular basis as the roadmap for The Division’s third year revealed it some time ago. There will still be plenty of stuff to do and to explore until The Division 2 comes out, leaving an important question of what will happen to our existing characters in the original game?
Considering that Ubisoft wants us to re-activate our agents at this time, it’s very likely that at least parts of our existing characters and the achievements we have gained so far will carry over to The Division 2. Whether this process will include stat-based items, or just things that would change the appearance of our characters such as Face Masks is unknown yet and we have to wait for an official statement.
