Pretty much out of nowhere, the developers have announced another Technical Test for The Division 2 which will take place from Thursday, February 21st to Friday, February 22nd for a limited number of PC players only.

According to the team, the goal of this test is it to review and assess some of the more critical fixes that have been implemented based on the Private Beta feedback.

Getting rid of these issues upfront should ensure that The Division 2’s Open Beta will again emphasize the core gameplay elements while providing a smooth experience for the expected broader audience on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

In contrast to the Private Beta, a pre-ordered game doesn’t guarantee a spot, nor is there a dedicated way to register for this test. PC players will get randomly selected across the world and will eventually receive an invitation email on Wednesday, February 20th.

The Technical Test contains the same content that was already available in the Private Beta, except for Conflict, Endgame and Photo Mode. Furthermore, it will not be possible to invite friends, and the test itself is not under an NDA.

In case you are one of the lucky ones, please take your time and join the Technical Test forums to share your feedback and to report possible issues. Good luck!
