Today was a successful day for Ubisoft and the developers of Tom Clancy’s The Division. Not only because they have shared a first insight of their future plans regarding exploits and cheats, but also because of the first official and successfully launched ban waves against such people earlier this day.
Thor, protector of mankind and his ban hammer seem to be with us and with him, Community Developer Hamish Bode, who kept us up-to-date during this Friday about the incoming ban waves.
We have already caught more cheaters in the last few days than we had in total during the previous weeks. As a result, we will be handing out the biggest wave of suspensions and bans to date over the course of the next few days.Quote in aforementioned article
Apparently also cheaters who are actually affected by those waves are now sharing their moments with other people from the cheater scene. If you don’t believe it, just have a look at the attached email screenshot below and be happy about the first big strike against them! Ooh Rah.
